Laboratorios D.A. Carrión SAC, was founded in September 12, 1947 for a doctors team of the Police Hospital, heading by Dr. Mariano Costa Sáenz, and his contributors :

Since the beginning, Laboratorios D.A. Carrión SAC, was in charge of the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products that replaced the traditional manufactured by other companies, with a less price as an advantage. The manufacturing and commercializing activities started providing the Police Hospital.
Since 1968 a new administrative take the Laboratory, under the direction of Dr. Raúl Portugal Valdivia as a General Manager and Raúl Portugal Signori as a Technical Director. In 1970 the laboratory participate in the Basic Medicines Program, later it will denominated Essential Medicine Program.
Alert to the market changes, the manufacturing and the commercializing started with the generic products that where included in the National Requirement of the Pharmaceutical Medicines, following the same line of giving the people the specialty in the high quality and suitable price.
Since that date the in a progressive way the installations of the laboratory are getting better, implementing new techniques of manufacturing and analysis. Accomplishing
with the requirements of the Good Practices of Manufacture recommended by the OMS to this kind of industry, and fitting the disposals issued by the Health Authorities in our country (DIGEMID).

The manufacturer plant is in constantly development and certified with the Standards provided by the OMS (Organización Mundial de Salud) with the certification Nº 196 dated 01.29.2002 granted by the General Direction of Medicines, Raw Material and Drugs (DIGEMID), with certification Nº 002-2002. The installations are distributed for the manufacturer of the different pharmaceutical products.
The whole production is audited by the Control of Quality Department, under a severe control since the enter of the raw material, during the process, taking special careful in the general requirements using the most modern analytic implements like:
The personnel that works in Laboratorios D.A. Carrión SAC is constantly capacitated and with large experience that guarantee the quality of each medicine produced in the installations, making the products identical, pure, safety, and effective.

The installations are designed to optimize the process, materials, personnel.
The environment conditions are going to be controlled by a whole system of filters, injectors, and extractors that offer environment 100,000 class for prepared non sterilized; 10,000 and 100 for prepared sterilized.
The new project and the BMP system allow us to maintain in the world requirement level, and succeed another important certifications as ISO 14000 and FDA.
